Every circuit breaker in a switchboard needs clear, permanent identification. Our engraved labels are made from traffolyte engraving laminate — the same material used by electrical contractors across Australia for decades.
Unlike printed or handwritten labels, engraved traffolyte is permanent. The text is physically carved into the material, not stuck on top. It won't fade in the sun, peel off from heat, or smudge when touched. One label, fitted once, readable for the life of the switchboard.

Main Switch Labels
Main switch labels identify the primary disconnection point for the installation. These are typically larger than circuit labels and often use a contrasting colour (red/white for emergency, white/black for general). Our designer handles any size — just enter your dimensions.

What size are standard circuit breaker labels?
The most common size is around 12-15mm high and 40-60mm wide to fit above or below a standard circuit breaker. Our designer lets you set any custom dimension.
Can I order labels for a full switchboard?

What colours are available?
White/black is the most common for general circuit identification. Red/white for emergency circuits and isolators. Yellow/black for caution and gas. We offer over a dozen colour combinations.
Are the labels compliant with AS/NZS 3000?
Our engraved traffolyte labels meet the durability and legibility requirements for switchboard labelling under AS/NZS 3000. The engraved text is permanent and will not fade.
