Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction
RBZ 3D ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you create an account, place an order, or contact us, we may collect:
- Name and contact details (email address, phone number)
- Billing and shipping addresses
- Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
- Order history and preferences
- Communications with us
Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and browser type
- Device information
- Pages visited and time spent on pages
- Referring website addresses
Design Files
When you use our design tools or upload files, we store these temporarily to process your order. Design files may be retained to assist with reorders or support queries.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfil your orders
- Communicate with you about orders, products, and services
- Provide customer support
- Send order confirmations and shipping notifications
- Improve our website and services
- Measure our advertising and show you relevant ads after you visit (see section 5)
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud and maintain security
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:
- Payment Processors: Stripe processes payments securely. Your payment card details are never stored on our servers.
- Shipping Partners: Australia Post or courier services to deliver your orders.
- Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate our business (hosting, email services).
- Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for website analytics, heatmaps, and session replay. These tools record interactions (clicks, scrolls, navigation) so we can improve usability. Form input content is masked by default.
- Advertising platforms: Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, for conversion measurement and remarketing. See section 5.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Advertising and Remarketing
We advertise online, and we use advertising technology to measure whether that advertising works and to show our ads to people who have already visited this website. This is commonly called remarketing or retargeting.
What we use
- Google Ads (including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 audiences)
- Microsoft Advertising (the Microsoft UET tag, which also covers Bing)
- Other mainstream advertising platforms we may add from time to time, on the same basis set out here
What this means in practice
When you visit this website, these platforms may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. That allows them to:
- Tell us that a visit, enquiry or order came from one of our ads, so we know which advertising is worth paying for;
- Show you our ads on other websites, apps and search results after you have left this site;
- Group you into an audience based on what you did here — for example, people who used the label designer but did not order — so that the ads you see are relevant rather than random; and
- Avoid showing you ads for something you have already bought.
We may also provide these platforms with contact details, such as an email address, so they can match you to an existing account and include or exclude you from an audience. Where a platform supports it, that information is hashed before it is sent. We do this to measure and target our own advertising — we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use sensitive information for advertising.
The advertising platforms act as independent controllers of the data they collect through their own tags, and their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policies.
How to opt out
You can opt out of personalised advertising without losing access to anything on this website:
- Google: My Ad Center
- Microsoft: Microsoft ad settings
- Industry opt-out (Australia): Your Online Choices
- Your browser: block or clear third-party cookies, use a tracking-protection or private-browsing mode, or enable Global Privacy Control where your browser offers it.
You can also email us at admin@rbz3d.au and ask us to stop using your details for advertising audiences, and we will action it. Under Australian Privacy Principle 7 you may ask us at any time not to use or disclose your personal information for direct marketing, and to tell you where we got it.
Opting out stops advertising being personalised. It does not stop you seeing ads generally, and it does not affect the essential cookies this site needs to keep you signed in and hold your cart.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- SSL encryption for data transmission
- Secure password hashing
- Regular security updates
- Limited access to personal information
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies in three categories:
- Essential. Keeping you signed in, holding your shopping cart, and security. The site does not work without these.
- Analytics. Understanding how the site is used so we can improve it — which pages are read, where people get stuck, which tools get used.
- Advertising. Measuring which of our ads produce enquiries and orders, and showing our ads to you on other sites after you visit. Section 5 explains this in full, including how to opt out.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not affect your ability to design, price or order labels; blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and your account from working.
8. Your Rights
Under Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Order records may be retained for accounting and tax purposes.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
