Terms of Service.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the RBZ 3D website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
RBZ 3D provides laser engraving and 3D printing services, including but not limited to:
- Custom engraved labels and signage
- Electrical and switchboard labels
- 3D printed parts and prototypes
- Online design tools for label creation
3. Orders and Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD). Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email.
Custom products are made to your specifications. Please review your designs carefully before ordering as we cannot be held responsible for errors in customer-supplied designs.
4. Payment
Payment is required at the time of order unless you have an approved trade account with us. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe payment gateway.
For trade accounts, payment terms are as agreed in writing. Late payments may incur additional charges and result in suspension of services.
5. Production and Delivery
Production times are estimates only and may vary depending on order complexity and current workload. We will endeavour to meet quoted timeframes but cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.
Shipping times are dependent on Australia Post or courier services and are outside our control once items are dispatched. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon dispatch.
Rates, production times, tracking, and what happens if a parcel is late, lost or damaged are set out in our Shipping Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any original designs, logos, or content you provide to us. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to use it for the purpose of fulfilling your order and for the promotional purposes described at clause 6.2.
You warrant that any designs or content you submit do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your submitted content.
6.1 Generic and functional content
Ownership under this clause extends only to material that is genuinely original to you. It does not extend to, and you do not acquire any exclusive or proprietary right in:
- Standard electrical, plant, and safety wording — including circuit descriptions, switchboard and equipment identifiers, main switch and isolator designations, warning, danger and caution wording, valve and asset numbering, and any text required or suggested by an Australian Standard, a regulation, a utility specification, or ordinary industry convention;
- Label dimensions, shapes, corner radii, hole positions and centres, cutouts, colour combinations, fonts, text sizes and layouts, whether individually or in combination;
- Material types, thicknesses, colours and finishes; and
- Any element of a label dictated by its function, by the equipment it identifies, or by the standard it is made to satisfy.
Labels of this kind are functional items rather than creative works. We produce identical or near-identical labels for unrelated customers as a matter of course, and we will continue to do so. Placing an order does not give you exclusivity over any size, shape, colour, layout, or wording of this kind, and our supplying the same or a similar label to another customer is not a breach of this agreement, a misuse of your content, or an infringement of any right of yours.
Where you supply genuinely original artwork — a company logo, a distinctive graphic, or a proprietary drawing — we will not reproduce that artwork for any other customer.
6.2 Use of completed work in our advertising
We may photograph, film, and reproduce items we manufacture, and use those images and descriptions in our advertising, marketing, website, social media, printed material, portfolio, product listings, and customer examples.
Where an item carries your logo or other content identifying you, we will not present it in a way that suggests you endorse or are affiliated with us beyond the fact that we supplied the goods. We will not publish site addresses, drawings, schedules, circuit lists, or other material you have identified to us as confidential.
You may opt out at any time by telling us in writing, either when you place your order or afterwards. We will not use images of your work in advertising published after that point, and we will remove already-published images within a reasonable period on request.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to create products that:
- Are illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Contain false or misleading information
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to refuse any order that we believe violates these terms.
8. Automated Access and Data Collection
The content on this website — including product descriptions, pricing, photography, guides, calculators, and page copy — is our intellectual property and is made available for the use of customers and prospective customers.
Without our prior written permission, you may not:
- Use automated means to copy, extract, index, or store our content — including crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, browser-automation tools, or AI agents operating a browser on your behalf — other than a general-purpose search engine indexing the site in the ordinary way;
- Reproduce, republish, or adapt our content for a competing commercial product or service;
- Circumvent any technical measure we use to restrict automated access.
Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to index this site and to cite it when answering questions — that is ordinary use and we encourage it. That permission does not extend to bulk extraction of our content, or to reuse of our content in a competing commercial offering.
Our AI Fair Use Policy sets this out in full, and also covers your use of the AI features we offer on this site.
Access to this site is logged. Where we identify unauthorised automated collection we may block the source without notice, and we reserve all rights available to us at law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RBZ 3D shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Warranty & Consumer Guarantees
We warrant that products will be manufactured in accordance with your approved specifications and free from defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modification, or normal wear and tear. Custom products are made to your specifications and cannot be returned simply because they don't meet your expectations if made correctly to your design.
Warranty periods, exclusions and how to make a claim are set out in full in our Warranty Policy.
Australian Consumer Guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
By using this website you acknowledge that we use advertising and analytics technology, including cookies and similar identifiers set by Google and Microsoft, to measure our advertising and to show you our ads on other websites after you visit — commonly called remarketing or retargeting. Section 5 of the Privacy Policy explains what this involves and how to opt out at any time without losing access to anything here.
Your use of the AI features on this site, and any automated or AI access to this site, is governed by our AI Fair Use Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
